Dr. Takuya Nagae and Dr. Satoshi Tanaka, members of group 4 “Disaster Risk Management,” arrived in Lima. On Tuesday 19, they had a coordination meeting with researchers from the Peruvian counterpart and related institutions such as CENEPRED; they also visited the Center for Awareness and Learning on Earthquakes and Tsunamis (CESATT) at CISMID.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On Wednesday 20, they held the SATREPS project workshop<\/a>, which showed the progress of the damage assessment system being developed for representatives of municipalities and public institutions in the study area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
