On Monday, December 18, the Japanese mission of the SATREPS 2021–2026 project arrived in Lima. The delegation included the leaders of each research group, supervisors from the Japan Science and Technology Agency (JST), and a representative from the JICA headquarters in Tokyo.
As part of their agenda, the delegation toured the study area and visited the National University of Engineering (UNI), where they held protocol meetings with the Rector, Dr. Alfonso López Chau, and the Dean of the Faculty of Civil Engineering, MSc. Wilfredo Gutiérrez.
During their visit, joint coordination committee meetings will be held, along with the project workshop scheduled for December 20 at the Convention Center of the College of Engineers of Peru – CD Lima.
