Researchers from G1B received a visit from Dr. Shunichi Koshimura, leader of the “Tsunami Inundation and Damage Forecast System” group, at the Japanese counterpart. On September 5, they toured the coastal area of the Chorrillos district, with a delegation of engineers from the Directorate of Hydrography and Navigation (DHN); in the afternoon they visited CISMID.
The next day they visited the DHN, an institution participating in the SATREPS project, to have a coordination meeting and schedule future activities.
